Studio Lighting Session 7/3

Looking at different ways of diffusing light.











Having a light (with a diffuser in front of it) directly in front of the subject. The photographer has to make sure to stand right up against the diffuser so that they do not cast a noticeable shadow on the subject.

Using a light meter to determine what exposure to use.



Making different coloured background light by attaching blue transparent paper to the lights.

Using a gold reflector to add some fill light to the side of the face opposite the light.

Looking at other ways of adding some golden light to the side of the subject's face that is opposite the light.
